Lawn Fawn | Monster Mash

Hello all, it's very cold here so i've been spending some time crafting, most certainly the best place to be when the weather is quite chilly. I purchased these fab little Lawn Fawn monsters a few months back and i've only just got round to using them. These monsters are so adorable, not scary at all!!

Firstly cut piece of A4 card down to 29.5 x 9 cm and fold to the left using bone folder, so you have landscape card. Cut a piece of red card to fit the top of the landscape card, emboss the red card with the chevrons embossing folder and ran it through the Cuttlebug. Adhere the embossed card to the card black using double sided tape.

Stamped four little monsters using acrylic block and memento tuxedo ink on neenah solar white card, making sure there is a slight gap in between the monsters. Coloured in using WH Smith Soft Colouring Pencils making sure I correctly added the right amount of shading as well. Stamped "Sending you monsters hugs" with the same memento ink pad, In the middle just below the monsters. Using the metal ruler and craft knife I cut straight line across both sides, but be sure not to cut into the monsters as they were fussy cut around with scissors. Cut the piece of card down to fit perfectly to the bottom of the card.

Adhered the stamped image with double sided foam tape, added some sparkle to the monsters with some clear wink of glitter. Added some adhesive dots to finish.

Sending Love and apologies

Hello all, hope you are all well and enjoying your weekend wherever you are in the world, I would firstly like to send my apologies for not posting as regularly as I usually do, this is due to lots of things including my ill health over the past few weeks, but I am hoping, I'll get back to my regularly posting as soon as possible. I would like to thank my loyal followers for sticking by me and giving me lots of support. So hopefully I will be posting more over the next week or so.

Well I love the coloured pencils look so much at the moment, so decided to give it ago for myself and had the perfect Clearly Besotted stamps to use.

Cut a piece of A4 white card down to 27cm x 9.7cm folded at the top with bone folder, take a piece of Neenah desert storm kraft card and cut down slightly to fit the card blank. Stamped the stem first, then the rose head and finally the jar using acrylic block, memento tuxedo black ink. I drew the stem longer with Whisper black pen, so it reached to the bottom of the jar, as the stem was a little short.

Coloured in the image using WHsmith soft colouring pencils. I wanted this to look as realistic as possible and made sure I added the right shading. Once colouring is completed, stamped Sending Love to middle right side of the jar, using the same memento tuxedo black ink.

Using Wink of Stella fine clear glitter pen, added some glitter detail to rose head. Cut a piece of funky EVA foam down to fit the matt layer and adhered with double sided tape, then adhere the whole piece to the card blank. Adhered three sequins using tweezers and glue dots to finish.

Handmade kindness

Hello all, Hope you are enjoying your Saturday? I've been busy in my crafty
space as I'm feeling a little under the weather today, so there is nothing better
than spending some time crafting whilst taking your mind off your problems.

Take a piece of white portofino card and cut down to 29 x 9.7 cm and fold
at the top with bone folder. Take another smaller piece of Portofino card
and rub all over with DI mini peacock feathers ink and zap with heat tool to
make sure it's completely dry.

Using the flower stamp from Lawn Fawn Flutter by and ink up with versafine
onyx black ink on acrylic block and stamp randomly all over the section of card.
Cut narrow strip of black card and adhere to the bottom of the stamped section
with strong double sided tape.

Now adhere to the card blank with double sided tape. Using HOTP clear
stamps set, acrylic block and Versafine onyx ink stamped Just for you.
Added a few sequins, adhere with micro glue dots to finish.

The wonderful Jennifer Mcguire announce her month long
challenge apart of "Share handmade kindness"

I designed this especially for my Mum who as been looking after
me pass few days whilst I've been under the weather and decide to
