You're so sweet

I wanted to make a baby card with a bit of a twist from normal baby pink and baby blue and thought these colours make me smile as it seems so bright and fresh which any new parents will really love. I also wanted a card that was unisex for neither gender as these days new parents wait until the baby is born to find out the gender so this card is handy for those times.

I decided to use coloured pencils for this card as its a bit of change than using alcohol marker pens, I do love alcohol markers pens but  I really love the effect of lightest of pencils and its capture the innocent of the toread too, also proves you can get the right shading with colouring pencils and not just alcohol markers.

Over at Crafters Companion challenge blog this month's challenge is the theme of "Baby" hence this card was born and the challenge inspired me to come up with something different and will be entering this as my entry to this month's challenge.
